Host Family Info
The Queen City Corndogs are currently seeking host families for the upcoming summer season. Host families must live within the greater Charlotte area.
Our players travel across the country to spend the summer here in the Queen City to further develop their baseball skills for the next step in their careers. They are student-athletes recommended by their respective college coaches or a professional scout.
Our host families provide:
- A bedroom in a safe environment
- Access to a bathroom
- Access to laundry
- Meals are at the discretion of the family
Hosting a player can provide inside access inside the life of a college baseball player, and it can provide an excellent role model for young children/teenagers and the ballplayers in your family. Many host families will develop strong relationships with their respective players and stay in touch with them throughout the rest of their careers.
Being a host family contains a certain amount of expectation. It is important to remember that you are being entrusted to provide essential comfort for the player by both the organization and his family members. In addition, these players are young adults and deserve a place in the house where they can go to rest, relax, and feel at home. Furthermore, we expect and require all players to be respectful to their host family as well as the rules of the household. Each family should be considerate of their player and their demanding baseball schedule.
All Host Families Receive:
- General Admission Season Tickets for the entire family
- (1) Signed Baseball by the entire Corndogs team
- Invitation to special events
If you would like to become a Host Family, please email queencitycorndogs@gmail.com. Thank you for your consideration to host a Corndog. We are looking forward to an exciting summer season!
