Collegiate Team Front Office & Coaching Staff

Eddie Hull

Eddie Hull is our Co-Founder and owner of our collegiate team. Hull wears a variety of hats inside our program and spends most of his time with our summer collegiate team.

Coach Hull is the Director of Athletics at Holy Trinity Catholic Middle School and the Head Baseball Coach at Charlotte Catholic High School.  He previously served two years as an assistant coach at Catholic, as well as two years on staff at Queens University of Charlotte. Hull also spent one season as an assistant coach at Charlotte Latin.

Hull was born and raised in Charlotte. He attended Charlotte Catholic and was named first team All-State in 2012, along with being named the MEGA-7 Conference Player of the Year. Hull played on year of junior college baseball at Louisburg College, followed by three years for the Charlotte 49ers.

Hull has coached and done lessons throughout the Charlotte area since 2017. He also owns Eddie Hull Baseball Camps, LLC.

Coach Hull lives in Charlotte with his wife, Cassidy, and newborn daughter, Laney.

Robert Sisson

Rob Sisson joined the Corndogs staff in the summer of 2024.  He currently serves as the General Manager of our college team.

He is also entering his third year as a member of the coaching staff at Charlotte Catholic HS. He serves as the Director of Baseball Operations and assists in all aspects of the program.

Rob graduated from NC State in 1999, where he majored in Business Management. He received his Masters in Sports Management from NC State in 2003. He was an equipment manager with the Wolfpack Baseball team from 1998-2002.

Rob teaches at Mount Holly Middle School, where he is a business education teacher. He also spent 19 years coaching baseball at Ashbrook HS. Rob lives in Charlotte with his wife, Sheri, and son, RJ, who is an 8th grader at Holy Trinity.

Nick Daddio

Nick Daddio is our Assistant GM. Daddio is a graduate of Hough HS, where he played both baseball and basketball. Daddio went on to play baseball for the Charlotte 49ers, where he caught for the Niners and was roommates with Coach Hull.

Daddio was named the Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Hickory Grove Christian School in July of 2022. He also teaches a variety of Business Education classes at HGCS. Before Hickory Grove, Daddio spent several years as a varsity assistant at Jay M. Robinson HS in Concord.

He and his wife, Sara, live in Kannapolis, with their children, Knox and Savannah, and dog, Hoosier.

Cory Lackey

Cory Lackey is entering his first season as the Head Coach of the Queen City Corndogs.  He was hired in the fall of 2025 and will take the reigns of the team in Summer of 2026.

Lackey is currently in his second season as an assistant coach at Pfeiffer University.

Prior to joining the Pfeiffer staff, Lackey was a five-year infield starter for the Pfeiffer Falcons, earning First Team All-Conference Honors during the 2023 season.

Lackey will be returning to the diamond with a primary focus of developing the team’s defense.  He will also play a key role in the offense and recruiting efforts moving forward.

During the summers of 2024 and 2025, Lackey coached in the Old North State League as an assistant coach with the Wilkesboro Moonshiners.

Lackey was born and raised in North Wilkesboro, N.C. and graduated from Pfeiffer University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management in 2023 and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration with Sport Administration focus.

Cam Cook

Cam Cook is an Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the Brevard College Tornados Baseball program, and enters his second season on the Tornado coaching staff in 2026.  Summer 2026 will be Cook’s first summer with the Corndogs.

Cook joins the coaching staff after an outstanding four-year career as a well-rounded student-athlete at Brevard College.  Cook officially began his coaching duties at Brevard College on December 1, 2024.

A CSC Academic All-District and three-time Academic All-Conference (with distinction) performer, Cook competed in 42 games and made 20 starts in his career as a pitcher for the Tornados.

Cook was named to the USA South Conference’s All-Sportsmanship Team following the 2024 season as a key part of a Tornado team that advanced the USA South championship series for the first time in program history.  As a junior in 2023, Cook helped Brevard earn its first postseason wins in the program’s NCAA-era history.  In 2022 as a sophomore, Cook went 4-2 with six starts in 12 appearances.

Beyond his playing career, Cook has served as a Head Baseball Coach for Stuart Cramer Junior League Baseball in Belmont, North Carolina.  His experience also includes time as a Baseball Instructor for Kinetic Drive, a player and team development program located in Lowell, North Carolina, as well as serving as a referee at Mount Holly Parks and Recreation.  Most recently, Cook completed an internship with the Brevard College Department of Athletics.

In the community, Cook has served as a volunteer at the Cindy Platt Boys and Girls Club of Transylvania County.  He has been a leader on the Brevard College campus as well, serving as a Resident Advisor amongst other duties.

Cook is a native of Mount Holly, North Carolina where he graduated from Stuart Cramer High School.  A three-time Dean’s List performer at Brevard College, Cook is set to graduate in December with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education with a Teacher Licensure as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science.
