Coaching Staff

Eddie Hull
Eddie Hull is our Co-Founder and the Director of Program and Player Development. Hull wears a variety of hats inside our program and spends most of his time with our summer collegiate team.
Coach Hull is the Director of Athletics at Holy Trinity Catholic Middle School and was named the Head Baseball Coach at Charlotte Catholic High School on May 17th, 2023. Hull led the 2025 Cougars to a 22-6 record and a SW4A Regular Season Conference Title. He led the 2024 Cougars to a 23-10 record, winning the SW4A Conference Tournament and finished as the 4A West Regional Finalist. He previously served two years as an assistant coach at Catholic, as well as two years on staff at Queens University of Charlotte. Hull also spent one season as an assistant coach at Charlotte Latin.
Hull was born and raised in Charlotte. He attended Charlotte Catholic and was named first team All-State in 2012, along with being named the MEGA-7 Conference Player of the Year. Hull played on year of junior college baseball at Louisburg College, followed by three years for the Charlotte 49ers.
Hull has coached and done lessons throughout the Charlotte area since 2017. He also owns Eddie Hull Baseball Camps, LLC.
Coach Hull lives in Charlotte with his wife, Cassidy, and their daughter, Laney.

Daniel Cooke
Daniel Cooke is our Co-Founder and Middle School Program Director.
Cooke is entering his 7th year at the helm of the baseball program at Charlotte Latin School. Since he has taken over the program, Latin Baseball has had its most successful seasons in over 15 years.
Cooke brings over 12 years of HS head coaching experience, while going 103-82 in his last 8 seasons as the head coach at Porter Ridge and Independence. Cooke’s teams have won two Southwestern 4A Conference Championships (2014 & 2016), two conference tournament titles (2014 & 2018), and advanced to the state playoffs six times. He has coached 4 All-State players, along with 14 players going on to play at the collegiate level. Coach Cooke was named the Southwestern 4A Coach of the Year in 2014, 2016, and 2019.
Cooke is a graduate of Gardner-Webb University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management. He was a two-sport standout in both football and baseball, earning All-Big South honors in both. In baseball, Cooke appears in the GWU record books in several categories, including most career runs (170) and most career stolen bases (94). He also ranks in the top 20 for career tackles in football. He served as captain for both teams as a senior and was selected as the GWU Male Student-Athlete of the Year.
Coach Cooke was inducted into the Gardner-Webb Athletics Hall of Fame in the Fall of 2021.
Cooke and his wife, Angela, have two children: daughter, Emma (10), and son, Bennett (5). They reside in Indian Trail.

Nick Daddio
Nick Daddio is the Assistant GM of our college team. He also helps with all aspects of our organization.
Daddio is a graduate of Hough HS, where he played both baseball and basketball. Daddio went on to play baseball for the Charlotte 49ers, where he caught for the Niners and was roommates with Coach Hull.
Daddio was named the Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Hickory Grove Christian School in July of 2022. He also teaches a variety of Business Education classes at HGCS. Before Hickory Grove, Daddio spent several years as a varsity assistant at Jay M. Robinson HS in Concord.
He and his wife, Sara, live in Kannapolis, with their son Knox (2), daughter Savannah (1), and dog, Hoosier.

Ryan Benson
Ryan Benson is our Showcase Director and Head Coach of our 2027 team. Coach Benson handles the logistics for all three of our showcase teams: he designs/runs our practices, he builds out our schedules, and handles all roster decisions.
Benson is from the burgeoning metropolis of Clayton, NC, outside of Raleigh. Coach Benson a longtime high school baseball coach in the Charlotte area, with stops at Cox Mill, Jay M. Robinson, and Butler. He also teaches history at Butler High School. He led Butler to a conference championship in 2023, his first season at the helm, and was named the SW4A Conference Coach of the Year in both 2023 and 2024.
In the summers, Coach Benson has worked with all levels of baseball from the youth level all the way to summer college baseball. Benson specializes in data analytics and player development.
Coach B throws batting practice slightly harder and a little more accurately than Coach Daddio, and he loves being a Corndog!
Ryan and his wife, Janel, reside in Mint Hill, with their daughter, Rylee (1).

Sam Skinner
Sam Skinner was added to the Corndogs staff in August of 2022. He works with our middle school teams and is currently our 13U Head Coach.
Coach Skinner is the Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Cuthbertson High School in Waxhaw. The 2025 season will be Skinner’s third season at Cuthbertson. He led Cutty to a 17-12 record in 2023, and a 25-3 record in 2024. He previously had coaching stops at Independence and Olympic.
Skinner is a Charlotte native, and currently lives in Charlotte with his wife, Lindsay.
Coach Cooke on Skinner – “Coach Skinner is a huge addition to our staff here with the Corndogs! Sam instantly makes us better. He is a great baseball coach, but more importantly, a great human being that will make a very positive impact on our players!”

Jesse Park
Jesse Park is our Director of Player Personnel and Showcase Pitching Coordinator. Her also serves as an assistant coach with our 2027 team. During the spring, he is the varsity pitching coach at Charlotte Catholic.
Coach Park comes to Catholic after spending the past two seasons at his alma mater, Carson High School, in China Grove.
Before his two year stint at Carson, Park coached collegiately at Queens University of Charlotte, Pfeiffer University, and Gardner-Webb University.
Park played collegiately at Pfeiffer University. He appeared in 28 career games as a left-handed relief pitcher, tossing 35.2 innings of relief for the Falcons. Park graduated from Pfeiffer in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Management.
Coach Park lives in Salisbury with his wife, Olivia, and children Beau (5) and Palmer (3).

Hutch Bibby
A Charlotte native, Hutch graduated from Myers Park High School and UNC-Charlotte. He has spent time teaching at Providence Day School, Charlotte Latin School, and Sierra Canyon School in California. He has worked in several capacities in education, including as a history teacher, Dean of Students, and Department Chair.
Coach Bibby is currently on Coach Cooke’s baseball staff at Charlotte Latin, serving as the Head JV Coach for the Hawks.

Jeff McGovern
A Charlotte native, Gov graduated from Charlotte Latin School and NC State. He has coached all levels of youth baseball, spending many seasons with the Stealth here in Charlotte.
Coach Hull on Gov: “Gov is the best boss I have ever had! We spent several years working together at Grand Slam USA in Matthews. He will make a huge impact on our middle school players here with the Corndogs!”

Robert Sisson
Rob Sisson joined the Corndogs staff in the summer of 2024. He currently serves as the General Manager of our college team, as well as the head coach of our 14U Navy team.
He is also entering his 3rd year as a member of the coaching staff at Charlotte Catholic HS. He serves as the Director of Baseball Operations and assists in all aspects of the program.
Rob graduated from NC State in 1999, where he majored in Business Management. He received his Masters in Sports Management from NC State in 2003. He was an equipment manager with the Wolfpack Baseball team from 1998-2002.
Rob teaches at Mount Holly Middle School, where he is a business education teacher. He also spent 19 years coaching baseball at Ashbrook HS. Rob lives in Charlotte with his wife, Sheri, and son, RJ, who is a 8th grader at Holy Trinity.

Michael Osinski
Michael Osinski will return to the Corndogs staff in the summer of 2026 for his 3rd season as an assistant coach with our college team.
Osinski is a New York state native. He was a standout at Vestal High School, where he excelled on both the baseball and football fields. He then came south for college, where he attended Longwood University in Farmville, VA. Michael started 161 of 163 career games at shortstop for Longwood.
Osinski was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 31st Round of the 2017 MLB Draft. He played five seasons with the Red Sox organization, and finished his career with the Gastonia HoneyHunters of the Atlantic League.
During the spring season, Osinski serves as an assistant coach on Eddie Hull’s staff at Charlotte Catholic HS.

Austin Blackmon
Austin Blackmon is entering his second year as a member of the Corndogs coaching staff. He is the Head Coach of our 2028 team.
Austin grew up in Lancaster, SC and graduated from Buford HS. He is currently a student at Winthrop University, pursuing a degree in Social Studies Education. During the spring season, Blackmon serves as the Head Coach of the C-Team at Buford HS.

Jacob Tuttle
Jacob Tuttle is entering his 1st year as a member of the Corndogs coaching staff. He is an assistant coach with our 2028 team.
He is a native of Kannapolis and played collegiately at Surry CC.

Andrew Kreissl
Andrew Kreissl will return to the Corndogs staff in the summer of 2025 as an assistant coach with our 2027/2028 team. He spent the 2024 summer season with our 13u teams.
Kreissl is a Charlotte native, graduating from Charlotte Latin School. He played summer baseball with the Corndogs and is one of the original members of the first Queen City Baseball Club team.
Andrew is currently a student at Ole Miss, where he is majoring in Criminal Justice.

Alex Cahill
Alex Cahill serves as the head coach of our 2029 team. He has 11 years of baseball coaching experience under his belt.
Cahill was a five-year varsity baseball player at Kingswood Oxford School in West Hartford, Connecticut. His playing career was cut short due to injury, so he began coaching at young age.
Cahill received a BS in Human Performance from the University of Tampa. He then spent a short time at Queens University of Charlotte with the Sports Performance department. He has spent the last 2 years teaching and coaching at The Winchendon School in Massachusetts. At Winchendon, he was responsible for player development for the Varsity Baseball program.
Cahill was recently hired by Charlotte Latin School to teach and coach, where he will help Coach Cooke with the varsity baseball program.
Coach Cahill: “I could not be more excited to get down to Charlotte – my goal is to impact as many people as I can through the game of baseball. Baseball is what I am most passionate about. More importantly, however, I strive to teach life through this game that we are so blessed to be a part of. I am excited for this next chapter in Charlotte and grateful for the opportunity to work with the Dogs!”

Ty Babin
Ty Babin serves as an assistant coach with our 2029 team. The Jackson, N.J. native wrapped up a storied playing career at Campbell, which included three Big South Regular Season titles and a pair of conference championships in 2018 and 2019. The standout catcher made three NCAA regional appearances, including the Greenville Regional at ECU in 2019, the Starkville Regional at Mississippi State in 2021, and the Knoxville Regional at Tennessee in 2022.
With the Camels, Babin was a member of an offense that ranked ranked nationally in 2021 in doubles (2nd), runs (3rd), and on-base percentage (3rd). The 2022 First Team All-Big South representative dominated his final season hitting .319 with 14 home runs and 50 RBI’s while also holding a .991 fielding percentage.
Babin graduated from Campbell with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration and a masters degree in Business Administration.
Babin spent the 2023 as an assistant coach at Queens.
